Shuttles are the only form of public transport on Uji, and shuttle stops form their routes; linking residential neighbourhoods  to wider Uji. Positioned along main roads and civic pathways, Mid Region shuttle stops incorporate live digital screens displaying routes, arrival times, and ambient conditions.

Although less fancily crafted and pristinely kept than City Korai shuttle stops, the  transport method is heavily utilised in The Mid Region and are often accompanied by Information boxes. Mid Region shuttle destinations include: Upper Mid Region, City Korai, and The Lower Region (which requires a transfer for further Lower Region travel).

When compared to  walking in the sweltering Korainian sun, hailing a pricey carriage, or riding an inelegant mule though the regions, shuttles are most Korainians preferred mode of travel. For those that work in City Korai, the 'sardines-in-a-jar' experience of early-morning commutes on a shuttle are a well-known right of passage.

Nevertheless, Mid-Region shuttle stops prioritise load capacity —  with midday routes  infamously capricious, known to remain stationary until a satisfactory number of passengers are aboard. Shuttle drivers are Government employees, operating under the Department of Transportation in the Eighth Rank, led by the Elder of Structure.
