Chief Ieday, the sixteenth Chief of The Mainland Government, sits at the administrative heart of Uji’s modern order. Inaugurated in 256 AL, she succeeded Chief Nadar, whose tenure (240–256 AL) is remembered for major disease control initiatives and research outreach in the colony outlands, resulting in disease eradication. The hallmark of Chief Ieday's time in leadership has been stability. The Chief is known to govern through structure, careful delegation, and of course adherence to Universe guidance. As of 267 AL, Chief Ieday has served as the Mainland’s guiding force for eleven cycles.
