The historical Isle of Volcanis was a Blackscale settlement formed upon a volcanic landmass with a towering volcano at its centre. Historical annals described a densely populated isle divided by steep ridges, spring pools and narrow waterways crossed by bridges. Multiple familial clans occupied the settlements surrounding the volcano, each maintaining its own territory and traditions. Though its dark, rocky landscape could appear severe, Volcanis was rich in hot springs, vivid vegetation and sheltered communities shaped by the volcano looming above them.
