Information Boxes are public terminals designed and supplied by Lei Electronics, a government-sponsored electrical provider. Positioned throughout the urban districts of Uji, these sleek, glass-framed, voice-activated units provide access to nearly any civic or practical information a Korainian might require — from land lot searches and direct dials to directions, weather summaries, carriage bookings and local database access. Most City Korai units operate on the Model 4 system, featuring integrated cooling systems and per-dial billing.
They are common in city plazas and commercial districts, often within short walking distance of one another. However, Information Boxes become increasingly sparse in Mid and Lower regions and residential areas, where access to immediate information becomes less a convenience and more a calculated expense.
The narrative heart of WOKU. An era with a plethora of stories and experiences, each exploring the Korainian world in unique ways.
